Show Me Your Heart

Not one great thing in this world was ever achieved without enthusiasm. Nothing fantastic was ever made by someone who said “I don’t give a shit” and stopped working.

No one builds statues or monuments to people who quit. We don’t remember the names of those who decided it was more important to act “cool” than to succeed … but we follow into battle those who show us their hearts.

Passion lasts. Enthusiasm prevails. What’s more — it infects. If what you are doing is fantastic and your enthusiasm is palpable, you will infect almost everyone you meet. Except the losers. Let them walk away. You don’t want them anyhow.

So, please, show me your heart.

And if people make fun of you for how much you love what you’re doing? Even better. Ridicule is a sure sign that you stand out from the crowd. Embrace it. Revel in it. Don’t even wave to the bottom feeders as you swim to the top of the cool, clear water. Just keep going.
